In each scene of the opera, some actors change along with the main character, as well as an element of the scenography. In the same way, we can change the "mask" in our lives (our appearance, lifestyle, friendships, tone of voice or mannerisms), but we can never remove ourselves from our innermost sensibilities. With Masque Fragranze, Alessandro and Riccardo do not intend to create a myth, a bestseller, a one-size-fits-all perfume. Rather, they aim to create a perfume collection with a soul. Each one is unique.
A perfume to wear as a second skin… a perfume behind the mask. Is there an actor who can convincingly bridge every possible role? A musician who can play every style of music authentically? Then there could be no nose that could represent every scene in the opera. Masque fragrances must be created with soul, and the purpose of the nose is to bring life to our scene. So each scene will have "its" nose.
