The eFuel 200W power supply from SkyRC is designed for mobile DC chargers with high charging power. The unit converts standard alternating current from any mains socket (100-240 volts) to 12 volts DC at up to 17 amps. A wide range of different safety features ensure exceptional user safety - protection against output circuit short-circuit, over-current, over-temperature, over-voltage and power supply overload. An intelligent cooling system effectively protects the unit from overheating. The LED switches off when the connected device draws more power than it should. In such a situation, the power supply will cut the current to protect the circuits and then reset itself automatically.
Active power factor correction (PFC) reduces interference when supplying AC power. By altering the waveform of the current drawn, the power factor is improved, resulting in higher energy efficiency of the device.
