The Flextail Zero Seat R02 is an ultra-lightweight inflatable seat mat that you can lay down anywhere you would normally sit on cold, hard, or damp ground—on a rock by a campfire, concrete stadium steps, or wet grass during a break. When inflated, it measures 28 × 40 cm, providing stable support for your body in a sitting position and relieving pressure points.

Insulation from cold and damp ground

In cool conditions, contact with the ground quickly draws away heat, so the R-value 2.8 mat creates an insulating barrier between you and the ground. When you sit on snow, frozen rock, or a damp bench, the insulation limits cooling and allows you to stay in place longer without discomfort. This is especially noticeable during winter trips, hunting, or nighttime campfires, when your body is already losing energy to maintain its temperature.

Always at hand – without weighing down your backpack

The mat weighs 70 g, so it doesn't affect your luggage balance, even when you're counting every gram on a long trip. When folded, it measures only φ5 × 11 cm, so it fits in a backpack pocket, side compartment of a kayak bag, or EDC organizer.

When you reach a viewpoint or stop for a quick meal, you don't want to waste time preparing to rest. You can inflate the mat instantly with your mouth or using the ZERO PUMP (not included, sold separately). This is practical in the field, where breaks are short and often spontaneous: you lay down the mat, sit down, and rest. When you move on, deflating and packing it takes just as little time.

The 28 × 40 cm surface and noticeable thickness distribute your body weight more evenly than thin mats or folding pads. The resilient cushion absorbs point pressure, so you won't feel tingling or stiffness when you stand up.
