GODOX V1-S Flash for Sony

The Godox V1-S flash for Sony is a compact news flash designed for Sony cameras, combining high flash power with convenient operation and modern features. The round flash head provides soft and even light, and support for TTL, manual, and Multi modes, HSS synchronization up to 1/8000 s (and up to 1/80000 s with select Sony cameras featuring a global shutter), a 1.7-second recycle time, and a high-capacity USB-C rechargeable battery make it ideal for event coverage, portrait sessions, and outdoor photography.

Natural Light and Convenient Operation

The round head and Godox’s advanced optical system generate soft light with smooth tonal transitions, making photos look more natural. The easy-to-read touchscreen lets you quickly adjust the flash settings, making it easier to work in dynamic conditions and reducing setup time.

The Godox V1-S is ready for the next flash in just 1.7 seconds and delivers approximately 650 full-power flashes on a single charge. The lithium-ion battery can be conveniently charged via the USB-C port using a wall charger or a power bank, which enhances your workflow when shooting outside the studio.

Full control over lighting

The flash supports TTL, manual, and Multi-strobe modes, as well as first- and second-curtain sync. HSS synchronization allows you to shoot with fast shutter speeds, and the built-in 2 W LED modeling light makes it easy to assess the lighting effect before taking the photo, resulting in greater precision when composing your shot.

Godox X Wireless System and Compatibility

The built-in 2.4 GHz Godox X system allows the flash to function as both a transmitter and receiver with a range of up to 70 meters. The flash is compatible with AK-R1 magnetic accessories, and its compatibility with the S2 and S3 mounts allows you to use a wide range of light modifiers featuring the popular Bowens mount. As a result, the V1-S model is well-suited for both photojournalism and more elaborate studio setups.
