The five filters installed on the SAP51 model (initial, cold catalysis, activated carbon, antibacterial and HEPA), ionizer and UV lamps guarantee the removal of 99.95% of suspended PM2 dust (diameter no more than 2.5 μm), 99.99% bacteria and viruses and 99% of volatile organic compounds such as formaldehyde.
The mechanical pre-filter is designed to clean the air of all major solid contaminants such as dust, hair or animal fur. The use of an activated carbon filter is designed to neutralize unpleasant odors and volatile organic compounds. As a third cold catalysis filter is a modern filter that removes carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, benzene, formaldehyde and other harmful volatile organic compounds from the air. As the name suggests, the anti-bacterial filter is supposed to remove bacteria, viruses and molds and prevent them from developing in the device itself.
A HEPA filter was used in the last stage of filtration. Its task is to retain the smallest particles of pollution, as well as all unpleasant and harmful odors and volatile compounds. An ionizer is another element of a comprehensive air purification system. In the SAP51 model, the ionization efficiency is very high - 10 × 106 ions per second. Thanks to this solution, the device almost completely eliminates the negative effects of positive ions emitted by electrical devices. Positive ions, which attract bacteria and viruses, as well as fungi, mold and other allergens, lose their properties due to ionization. Air saturated with negative ions causes all microorganisms to fall to the ground and thus do not reach the lungs of household members. The last stage of cleaning is the use of a UV lamp, which light damages the cell nuclei of microorganisms (bacteria, viruses, fungi). It has a support function, ultimately sterilizing the airflow that passes through the device.
The SAP51 air purifier is designed for use up to an area of 40 m2. The reason for this is the high CADR efficiency index (Clean Air Delivery Rate), thanks to which it can supply up to 165 m3 of purified air per hour.
The electronic control system equipped with the SAP51 model allows easy and intuitive control of the cleaning process. The air quality indicator shows its quality on a scale from green (very good) to red (very dirty) line. The device operates at three speeds that can be controlled from the control panel or remotely - basic (500 rpm), medium (700 rpm) and high (900 rpm). You can check the current speed on the cleaning speed indicator on the control panel. An important feature of the SAP51 is the timer function. As a result, you can determine how long the device will work. It can be at least 30 minutes, no more than 12 hours. After this time, the wiper will turn off. The SAP51 features low noise performance. Depending on the speed at which the device operates, it ranges from 25 to 40 dB. The remote control has the same set of buttons as the control panel. For this reason, the control of the device is simple and intuitive. The remote control is powered by the batteries included in the kit.
