Method of extraction: sea buckthorn oil is extracted from prickly sea buckthorn Hippophae rhamnoides fruit cold pressing. Our oil is of high quality, pure and undiluted, with a carotenoid content of 180-270 mg%.

In the oldest Tibetan treatise, written before the 9th century. Ave. Christ, the miraculous properties of sea buckthorn were listed. The works of the ancient Greek physician Dioscorides also mention preparations with sea buckthorn, which famous ancient doctors recommended for stomach ailments. In folk medicine, this oil is widely used for wounds, damaged skin, skin cracks, blackheads, thermal and chemical burns.

Sea buckthorn oil is rich in linoleic and linolenic acids (omega-3 and omega-6) triglycerides, which are necessary for the production of lipids in our skin to maintain the protective barrier of the skin and slow down the evaporation of water from the surface of the skin. As we age or due to some diseases, the synthesis of these lipids in our skin slows down and the skin becomes drier and the stratum corneum thinner. Omega-3 and -6 acids, by accelerating the production of lipids in the skin, strengthen the lipid barrier of the epidermis, protect the skin from water loss and normalize skin metabolism. Those with acne-prone skin also experience a decrease in the amount of these fatty acids, which impairs skin regeneration processes, clogs pores and creates comedones or breakouts. Sea buckthorn oil cleans the pores and reduces the number of comedones, and it also improves the condition of the skin in case of dry, scaly skin, dermatitis or psoriasis.

Sea buckthorn oil is distinguished not only by the composition of active substances, but also by their extremely large amount, among which are found: more than 40 carotenoids of various structures, which stimulate collagen production, sterols and vitamin E, which regulate the inflammation process. These substances are very important to maintain the condition of the skin in damaged skin and wounds.

Sea buckthorn oil contains palmitoleic fatty acid, which is rarely found in the plant world, which reduces the production of melanin (skin pigment) in the skin. Therefore, it is a good remedy against pigment spots. Masks with sea buckthorn oil slightly lighten the skin, reducing the visibility of wrinkles. This oil can be used to prevent premature aging of the skin.
