One capsule contains at least 500,000,000 CFU (colony forming units) of the lactic acid bacteria Lactobacillus acidophilus. These are viable lactic acid bacteria that maintain the physiological balance of intestinal microflora and are resistant to antibiotics and chemotherapeutic drugs.
