The shampoo suppresses the secretion of sebum and prevents the formation of dandruff, which can later form scales, plaques on the surface of the scalp or large yellowish scales. This shampoo can help reduce the formation of dandruff that occurs due to overactive sebum secretion (aka oily dandruff).

Mediket Ictam shampoo contains white ichthyol and zinc pyrithione. These active ingredients have anti-fungal and anti-bacterial effects and help restore the skin's balance by normalizing sebum secretion. In addition, white ichthyol has an anti-inflammatory effect. The shampoo soothes irritated scalp.

White ichthyol, also known as ichthamol, is a substance extracted from bituminous shale by distillation. Due to its exceptional regenerative properties, white ichthyol has become very popular in dermatology and cosmetics. This substance is used for the reduction and prevention of various diseases such as acne, seborrheic dermatitis, oral dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis and some fungal skin diseases. In cosmetics, it is increasingly used as an integral part of care products.
White ichthyol has anti-inflammatory, antifungal, antibacterial, antiseptic and anti-seborrheic effects, reduces skin itching, softens scaly skin, improves blood circulation and prevents the formation of dandruff. Products with white ichthyol promote skin regeneration.

Zinc pyrithione has antifungal and antibacterial effects. This substance is used in dermatology for the care of various diseases of the hairy scalp, for example: seborrheic dermatitis (seborrhea), eczema, mycosis or psoriasis (psoriasis). Currently, zinc pyrithione is one of the most used and recognized active substances that reduces skin redness and itching, quickly and effectively removes both oily and dry dandruff and prevents their recurrence.

Method of use:

After wetting your hair, massage the shampoo into a lather. For best results, leave on for 3-5 minutes and then rinse thoroughly. Use Mediket Ictamo shampoo 2-3 times a week, for a maximum of 4-6 weeks. Afterwards, use Mediket Ictamo shampoo once a week.
