Pure D-Glycerol Aldehyde combines two molecules that have strong bonds with sugar. Circulating sugar is tightly bound to carnosine and Glycoxil® molecules, not to proteins in the body. For example, if the sugar molecules are already bound to the protein molecules, the Glycoxil® bond is so strong that the sugar breaks from the protein molecule and reattaches to the Glycoxil®. In addition, Pure D-Glycerol Aldehyde has a protective and restorative effect. As mentioned earlier, it protects against glycation, but also restores protein molecules that have been affected for a long time.
