The GL.iNet Comet PoE (GL-RM1PE) is an advanced KVM switch that enables full remote management of computers, servers, and network devices over the Internet. Comet PoE enables remote control of devices via a web browser running on Windows, macOS, and Linux. It requires no additional software installation or paid subscriptions. The device supports video transmission at resolutions up to 4K at 30 frames per second, using hardware-accelerated H.264 encoding. This ensures smooth video during system configuration, diagnostics, or day-to-day administrative tasks. Support for the IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at PoE standards allows power and data to be transmitted over a single Ethernet cable.
