HiFiMAN Serenade is a headphone amplifier and DAC that is designed to deliver audiophile-quality sound in any configuration. Serenade supports up to five different signal inputs: USB, coaxial, optical, analog and network. In addition, the network input allows music to be streamed directly from NAS devices, significantly increasing the versatility of the equipment.
The device offers three output modes: DAC, H-AMP and P-AMP. In DAC mode, the headphone output is muted, and a fixed-level analog signal is passed through XLR and RCA connectors. H-AMP mode activates the headphone outputs and allows volume control, while P-AMP allows the unit to be used as a preamplifier, increasing its functionality in more advanced audio systems.
Serenade offers impressive amplifier power to support a wide range of headphones, from low-impedance 32 ohm models to more demanding 300 ohm designs. The balanced output reaches as much as 4,000 mW at 32 Ω, guaranteeing dynamic sound and excellent sound control regardless of the type of headphones connected.
