The use of Always-on Video (AOV) allows for continuous monitoring of the surroundings while reducing energy consumption. The camera creates time-lapse recordings from regularly taken photos, and automatically switches to full video recording when an event is detected. This solution allows you to maintain a complete picture of the situation while extending battery life.
The built-in 10,000 mAh battery, combined with a 5 W solar panel, enables operation without the need to connect to the electrical grid. As little as about 2 hours of daily sunlight can cover the camera’s power needs during standard use, eliminating the need for frequent charging. Additionally, the notification system alerts you when the battery level drops to 20% and 10%, allowing you to take action in a timely manner.
The camera offers two operating modes—2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and 4G LTE—making it suitable for use both at home and in locations without constant internet access. Support for European LTE bands (B1/3/5/7/8/20/28/38/40/41) ensures broad compatibility with carriers. Imou Sense algorithms enable human detection with over 98% accuracy, reducing false alarms. The Auto Tracking feature automatically tracks a detected person, keeping them in the frame.
