Anise is one of the most popular spices, which has been known since the time of Ancient Egypt and is widely used in traditional Chinese medicine.
Anise oil is successfully used in anti-acne, skin fungus and mouthwashes against bad breath. This oil can reduce the itching and discomfort of irritated skin. Due to its antioxidant properties, it also has a positive effect in products for mature skin, but it is important not to exceed the recommended dose (0.3%), as it can cause an allergic reaction in case of sensitive skin.
In studies, anise oil has shown the ability to slow down the breakdown of elastin in the skin, so regular masks with this oil are an excellent way to maintain the elasticity of mature skin.
