The most important element of the design is a special grid with slits approximately 4.8 mm wide and a diagonal deflector structure, which together ensure effective collection of litter remaining on the cat’s paws. As the cat steps down from the litter box, litter particles are caught and trapped inside the step, significantly reducing the amount of litter that ends up on the floor. This solution effectively removes litter residue trapped between the pads and claws, while being designed to prevent discomfort or the risk of the paws getting stuck.
