The GOOLOO GT4000S is a 74Wh (5000mAh, 14.8V) jump starter that delivers a peak current of 4000A and a starting current of 800A, used during starter motor operation. As a result, it supports gasoline engines up to 12.0L and diesel engines up to 10.0L. The device features a 100W USB-C PD port, 150W USB and DC outputs, as well as an IP65-rated waterproof housing and a 3.2” screen, making it practical for use both in and out of the car.
In the context of starting a vehicle, two parameters are key: peak current and starting current. The 4000A value represents the maximum energy pulse needed to “overcome” resistance when starting the engine. In turn, 800A is the current supplied while the starter motor is turning, i.e., at the most demanding moment of the entire process. This combination of parameters allows for effective vehicle starting even with a significantly discharged battery. In practice, this means greater predictability of operation—the device delivers energy exactly when it is most needed.
The 74Wh battery allows for up to 60 start attempts on a single charge, providing great flexibility of use without the need for frequent recharging. Also important is the lifespan exceeding 1,000 cycles, which translates to a longer service life. Thanks to this, the device works well not only as emergency support but also as equipment used regularly, e.g., at work or when servicing several vehicles.
The use of a USB-C port with 100W Power Delivery support significantly reduces charging time—a full charge takes about 1.2 hours. This solution minimizes downtime and allows you to quickly prepare the device for its next use. In emergency situations, about 5 minutes of charging is enough to provide the power needed for a startup attempt. This is a practical feature, especially when access to a power source is limited.
The GT4000S also functions as a power bank. The 100W USB-C PD port allows you to charge laptops and other high-demand devices, while the USB-A ports let you power smartphones or mobile accessories. The 150W DC output expands its use to automotive equipment that requires more power. This allows a single device to perform several functions simultaneously, simplifying the use of electronics on the go.
The IP65-rated housing protects against dust and water, allowing the device to be used even in less favorable conditions. The temperature range from -20°C to 60°C ensures the device remains functional regardless of the weather. A long standby time of up to 24 months means the device can be stored in a car and remains ready for use without frequent recharging.
The 3.2” screen makes it easy to monitor the charge level and operating parameters. The built-in LED flashlight enhances usability after dark, and the Boost button allows you to force a start in the case of deeply discharged batteries. The set includes all necessary accessories: jumper cables, USB cables, a 100W car charger, a cigarette lighter adapter, and a carrying case. This means the device is ready to use right out of the box.
